Bronze is not a stranger to Bell & Ross dive watches. Between 2018 and the early 2020s, the BR-03-92 Diver appeared in bronze with black, brown, red, green, and white dials, each emphasising warmth and colour. On these, bezels were either bronze or colour-matched, all were limited to 999 pieces, and some are no longer available. What never existed, however, was the most obvious and arguably most coherent pairing: bronze with black on both dial and bezel. The new BR-03 Diver edition case is made from CuSn8 bronze (92% copper, 8% tin), a marine-grade alloy used for nautical hardware and underwater exploration, and measures 42mm by 42mm and 12.3mm thick. Satin-brushed surfaces dominate, polished accents add contrast, and the material is allowed to evolve naturally. The unidirectional bezel is also made in bronze and, for this new version, features a polished black ceramic insert graduated to 60 minutes. The bezel markings are filled with Super-LumiNova X1, ensuring clear dive time readings underwater.
